BIOGRAPHY
WINDING SPECIALISTS CO., INC.
In 1969 George and Doris Wills purchased Winding Specialists Co., Inc. which was
primarily a FAA repair station. They started out with 800 square feet of manufacturing
space and three employees. During those early years, government contracting, with an
emphasis in avionics, was initiated. Contract awards increased steadily and Winding
Specialists added an additional 7000 square feet of space. Sales doubled in the following
eight years and in 1986 plant facilities were again expanded to the present 15,500 square
feet. In 1985 David Wills took over as president. Today we are on our third generation of
Wills family, as Patrick Wills was named president in 2008. Previously, Winding
Specialists Company was named the Small Business Administrations, Contractor of the
Year. Throughout the years Winding Specialists has received various Awards and
recognition for Quality and On-Time Delivery.
Our current staff is comprised of our very best employees whose knowledge, versatility and
standards of workmanship are the backbone of Winding Specialists. The average length of
service for our employees is 16 years.
